Sony is unveiling its Home Theater and Home Media Player for the UK and the US next month.
The new consoles will be available in the UK, Canada, the US and Japan and will feature an Nvidia Tegra 3 chip, a 4K Ultra HD display, a quad-core processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 16GB storage.
Sony said the new consoles would launch in the US on November 19, with a release date in Australia in November.
Sony is also announcing the launch of its own streaming service in Australia.
The Home Theater will include HDMI and VGA ports, as well as a remote control.
The new Home Media Players will have the same specifications as the PS4, but they will be bundled with the PlayStation VR headset.
Sony said it was targeting a launch of the Home Theater in Australia next month, with the Home Media players arriving in the rest of the world on November 23.
The PlayStation VR is also set to launch in Australia, with PlayStation VR-branded consoles coming to the US in November, Australia on November 27, and Japan in December.
Sony has been trying to get the Home and Home Cinema consoles to market in Australia as soon as possible after the PlayStation 4 launch, with Sony Home Media Playables arriving in early October.
The Home Cinema console is already available in Australia for $799.99, and Sony Home TV and Home VR will be coming to Australia next year.
Sony also said it is planning to bring its own VR-capable home entertainment software to Australia.
The company said it will start selling its own PSVR software in September.
