Microsoft has announced a number of new development tools for the HoloLens, including a tool for virtual reality developers.
The HoloLens VR development kit includes a number that focus on making it easier to develop software that uses the platform’s AR and VR capabilities.
The kit includes three “code generators,” which can be used to develop code for the device’s built-in cameras and sensors, as well as a new tool called “Code Creator,” which allows developers to use a set of predefined code generators for the platform.
Microsoft also unveiled its new VR SDK, which enables developers to create VR apps for HoloLens and other headsets.
In the video above, we see the new tools in action.
We can also see how the HoloLite developer kit can be expanded with new developer tools that can be added to existing software development kits.
